Wild Raven products are made by hand using only natural ingredients, they contain no chemical preservatives or emulsifiers present. This means that your balm may melt or separate if exposed to high temperatures. It is best to keep balms out of the sun and away from direct heat sources. Generally you can expect your balm to keep well for 12 months if stored properly. If your balm does melt or separate just put it in the fridge for a few hours to re-solidify and it will still be usable.
Please check the ingredients list for any known allergens. This balm contains pure and natural ingredients but even these may cause allergies or sensitivities in some people. It is always a good idea to do a patch test for the first time using any new product.
This balm is made with unrefined beeswax which occasionally introduces specs in the balm. These are a natural byproduct of the beekeeping process and pose no health concerns. They are typically small pieces of honeycomb, pollen, or propolis that didn't fully strain out of the wax. This is a natural occurrence in natural handmade products and doesn't affect the integrity of the balm.
